| Helped by moderation in food prices and a favourable base effect, the headline inflation number eased to 6.93% in November as against 7.61% in October. However, core inflation continued to remain steady at 5.80% due to persistent cost push pressures. Wholesale inflation also inched up during November with y-o-y inflation at 1.55% as against 1.48% in October. |
